Excavator 180 Training Course Above and Below 5 Tonnes

Our 180 Excavator training course guarantees that candidates receive comprehensive plant training for operating a 180-degree Excavator, whether it falls below or above 5 tonnes, depending on the chosen training variant. The course content equips candidates with the essential skills and practical experience required to operate this vehicle effectively and efficiently.

Course content:

Understand the capabilities, purposes, and limitations of each machine.
Follow all necessary safety precautions.
Site the machine safely and efficiently.
Prepare the machine for traveling on the public highway.
Fit and operate ancillary equipment.
Operate the 180° wheeled excavator safely and productively.
Carry out minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures.
Be aware of the necessary routine adjustments and service procedures and carry them out.
Interpret the information provided by level pegs and profiles.
Work to levels with the aid of laser equipment.

8 days of training followed by 1 day of assessment.

A12 Excavator 180 Above 5 Tonnes

NPORS is an approved CSCS Partner Card Scheme, providing evidence that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the excavator 180 Operation. Furthermore, training criteria is based on the approved standards of the Construction Leadership Council.

Most major contractors should accept the NPORS Excavator 180 card when presented on-site, which displays the silver CSCS logo.

This NPORS excavator 180 training meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant statutory provisions and Approved Codes of Practice.

All delegates must have passed the CITB health, safety and environment test no more than two years before the course start date. Delegates must also have good understanding of written and spoken English.
