Working at Height Training

This course is for people who are required to work at a height during their role, for example when using ladders, scaffolding, or harnesses.

By the end of this working from a height training course, the learner will be able to reflect the following:

Understand the dangers of working in the industry and the responsibilities whenever working at a height
Define the hazards of working above ground level, as well as the requirements to control them
Maintain and identify the appropriate PPE whenever working at a height
Demonstrate and explain how to work at a height safely, as well as issues they could face

Those working on construction sites need to be competent when operating plant and machinery and be aware of the health and safety of others around them. Through competency, they lower the risk to themselves and others on the site allowing them to work more safely. Successfully completing a specific CPCS training course related to their job role and requirements, enables them to be competent onsite and undertake all work safely.
